How do you want to feel?
What type of lifestyle do you want to have?
Do you have chronic pain, leaky gut, or just need more energy to make it through your day-to-day?
Hi, I’m Dr. Cynthia Guy — physician, health coach, author and founder of NutriLife Wellness LLC. After practicing anesthesia and pain management for over 25 years at some of Missouri’s most renowned hospitals, I was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis (MS).
I was 60 then, and I wasn’t prepared for that diagnosis. In short, it forced me into retirement and my driven-to-achieve personality couldn’t accept that. I continued working, albeit to a lesser degree than an anesthesiologist, but didn’t focus on taking care of myself or working to heal my MS.
Eventually, I was told that the MS would consume my life, that modern drugs and treatments would help slow the disease progression, but that nothing would ever really eliminate it. I took medication for nearly five years and was then told to stop when my disease worsened. At one stage, my doctor even said I’d be confined to a bed for months if I didn’t improve.
I could not accept that.
Clearly, conventional treatments weren’t working for me, and my doctors offered no alternative treatment recommendations.
I started to search for my own treatments and found that with the right balance of nutrition, exercise, stress management, and alternative treatments, things improved.
Since then, things have only continued to improve. I’ve decreased my inflammation, healed my gut, improved my quality of life, have a renewed vitality for life … and I’m back to work, taking care of patients and helping them live their best lives with functional nutrition in the forefront of their healing.
If you’re ready to take control of your health and improve your quality of life, I’m here to show you how.
